Forty-Mile Sponsored Row

On Sunday 26 May 2013, London Rowing Club will hold a gruelling Forty-Mile Sponsored Row on the River Thames between Teddington Lock and central London.  This event will raise much-needed funds for the Club and for Help for Heroes, the UK charity that provides support for our wounded servicemen and women. After breakfast, the crews and scullers will set off from the LRC boathouse on the Putney embankment and row down to HMS Belfast on the last of the ebb tide, returning to Putney on the flood tide for lunch.  In the afternoon the crews will row up to Teddington, coming home on the ebb tide for a barbecue at the club.
